Civil War author John Banks Sunday, November 6th 2pm
This year marks the 150th year since our Civil War monument was erected on the Green. To mark this event the Northfield Historical Society’s fall lecture will be given by author and historian John Banks on Northfield and Litchfield Civil War soldiers and the battles in which they were engaged. The lecture will be Sunday, November 6th at 2pm at the Gilbert Library.

Explore Your Genealogy on the Library’s New Laptop!
The library has recently purchased a laptop made possible by a grant given to us by the Thomaston Savings Bank Foundation. The laptop will be available to patrons to access thousands of documents available on Come and explore your genealogy with our laptop or yours!

Movie Friday
Friday, November 18th at 4pm the library will have its monthly "Movie Friday." The library will "premiere" Finding Dory, rated PG. We always have fun! Come and join your friends for a movie and some popcorn!
